Free autism self-test for adults
Two free adult autism screeners, scored on your device: the ten-question AQ-10 in three minutes, and the 80-question RAADS-R in fifteen.
Two screeners, both scored on your device. The AQ-10 takes about three minutes; a score of 6 or more is the level at which its authors suggest considering a specialist assessment. The RAADS-R is the longer, more detailed screen; 65 or more is treated as indicative. Neither is a diagnosis, and autistic adults who mask can score below both thresholds.
AQ-10: the three-minute screen
RAADS-R: the fifteen-minute screen
Eighty statements. For each, choose whether it is true now and when you were young, true only now, true only when you were younger than 16, or never true. Take breaks if you need to; nothing is sent anywhere.
What a result means, and what it does not
Both tools were designed to help clinicians decide who to refer for assessment. They were not designed to diagnose, and they were built mostly on people who were already known to be autistic, which is why masking adults, and women in particular, can score below the thresholds while being autistic. A high score is a reason to consider an assessment. A low score is one piece of information, not a verdict.
An adult autism assessment at Inner Help is psychologist-led and does not involve medication. It produces a written report you can use for NDIS, work and study. It opens later in 2026; until then, the waitlist below holds your place, and the therapist finder can match you with someone now.

Which test should I do?
Start with the AQ-10. If the questions felt familiar, or you scored 6 or more, the RAADS-R gives a fuller picture and is the one clinicians more often ask about.
I have ADHD. Does that change the score?
ADHD and autism overlap often, and some RAADS-R items are also true for people with ADHD. Read the AuDHD guide; an assessment can look at both.
Can I get a diagnosis online?
An adult autism assessment can be done by telehealth by a qualified psychologist, using a clinical interview, standardised tools and information from someone who knew you as a child where possible. Screeners on a website cannot diagnose anyone.
Where do my answers go?
Nowhere. Both tests run in your browser. Saving a result stores it on your device only.
