What is Root Cause Therapy?

Root Cause Therapy is an alternative healing modality for healing past trauma that is presenting today as physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual symptoms, such as addiction.

Working on both conscious and unconscious levels, root cause therapy is based on the premise that by identifying and treating the root cause underlying conditions, for example addictive behaviours and codependency, these behaviours and associated thoughts, emotions, feelings, and experiences can be released.

This release and healing has many benefits. You can expect:

A calmer, more stable mental/emotional state as emotions no longer remain unprocessed or incomplete within the body and mind
A recalibration of the autonomic nervous system as it no longer responds to triggers
Reduced or no inclination to engage in behaviours that have become problematic, such as alcohol or substance abuse and relationship addiction
A growing sense of hope and confidence in yourself as you integrate new ways of managing emotions and situations that arise
A desire to fulfill your own purpose.

Working together with Adam Ducquet, Inner Help’s certified Root Cause Therapy practitioner, it is possible to face and heal the underlying causes of long held beliefs, behaviours, and physical conditions.

Don’t allow addiction to hold you back any longer.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR ROOT CAUSE THERAPY TO WORK?

Like all other treatments, Root Cause Therapy, or RCT, is neither a silver bullet nor a quick fix.

Like all other treatments, Root Cause Therapy, or RCT, is neither a silver bullet nor a quick fix.

After just a couple of sessions, some people experience immediate relief from symptoms and noticeable changes in their mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing. Generally, however, changes are gradual, allowing you to develop new beliefs, habits, and practices to support long term recovery.

What is a certified Root Cause Therapy practitioner?

A Root Cause Therapy practitioner is someone who has completed internationally certified practitioner training in healing the root cause of mental, emotional, and even physical conditions.

Root Cause Therapy can be used on its own or in conjunction with other modalities and allopathic medical treatment.

At Inner Help, we add to the effectiveness of Root Cause Therapy by drawing on lived experience of addiction and recovery, so you can feel confident we understand every step of your journey.

WHY WORK WITH US?

Personalised Program

We personalise the program to suit your individual needs and circumstances. We explore one’s individual underlying root causes as no one addiction treatment should be standard or treated the same as every other addiction. We all have unique traumas and reasons why we’re not coping.

Family Support

We believe improving and rebuilding the connections with the relevant relationships around us contributes to the long-term success of an individuals treatment. We offer support calls to family members or loved ones involved in one’s treatment journey. Connection is a two-way street!

Learn Proven Methods

We take our similar lived experiences and apply as well as teach you strategies and methods we have successfully used on ourselves and others for treatment. We don’t use traditional or the ‘standard’ failed methods to treat addiction. Addiction treatment is a LIFETIME INVESTMENT!

Root Cause Therapy

We use alternative methods, where we work on finding the underlying causes of addiction rather than just treating the symptoms like you would traditionally. We don’t believe in just stopping or going ‘cold turkey’. There is a deeper root cause that we need to recognise in order to treat addiction.
